About Dodo Socks
The Beginning
Dodo Socks originated from supplying winter socks to the Ukrainian military. Andriy, Marta and Roman, IT specialists from the city of Lviv in western Ukraine, ordered a large number of socks from a local manufacturer to provide winter socks for soldiers. When they noticed that all the socks were monochromatic, they wondered: "Why not make socks with more vibrant and interesting patterns?"
So I approached a sock factory and they told me that if I brought my own ideas, they could make socks with bright and interesting patterns.
This idea led to the launch of Dodo Socks, a sock brand with unique designs incorporating traditional Ukrainian patterns, in November 2015.

Production and sales
All Dodo Socks products are designed and produced in Ukraine. The vibrant and unique designs have gained huge popularity both at home and abroad. In 2017, when a Ukrainian delegation visited Canada, they presented a pair of Dodo socks to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau after hearing that he liked vibrant socks.
This further increased its popularity, and to increase production, the company partnered with the Rubizhne Stocking Manufactory in the east, becoming a major producer.
However, in May 2022, Russian troops occupied Rubygenes and the factory was destroyed. Despite this situation, in June, the factory's 15 employees and their families moved to the west to the city of Lviv, rebuilt a new factory, and resumed production.
